Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how MINGO uses them, and what choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

By continuing to use our platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy.

02

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the platform.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. Where we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we also mean these similar technologies unless stated otherwise.

03

Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary

These cookies are required for the platform to function. They enable you to log in to your account, complete a purchase, and navigate the platform securely. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies without losing access to core platform functionality.

  • Session cookie — maintains your authenticated session
  • CSRF token — prevents cross-site request forgery attacks
  • Load balancing cookie — routes requests to the correct server

3.2 Performance and Analytics

We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our platform — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and where users encounter issues. This data is aggregated and does not identify you individually.

We use these insights solely to improve the platform. We do not share analytics data with advertisers.

3.3 Functional

Functional cookies remember your preferences, such as your preferred language or display settings, to provide a more personalised experience.

04

What We Do Not Use

MINGO does not use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels from third-party networks
  • Cookies to build behavioural profiles for sale to third parties

We do not share cookie data with advertising networks or data brokers.

05

Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services we integrate may set their own cookies. This includes our payment processor, which may set cookies to assist with fraud prevention and secure payment handling. We do not control these cookies directly.

We select third-party providers carefully and limit their data access to what is strictly necessary for the service they provide.

06

Blockchain and Cookies

On-chain activity on the Hedera network does not use cookies. Ticket state records, transactions, and wallet operations are handled at the ledger level and are independent of any cookie mechanism.

Cookies only operate within your browser session with our web platform. They do not affect or interact with the distributed ledger layer.

07

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or clear cookies. Note that blocking cookies may impact the functionality of our platform, particularly for features that require authentication.

  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data

For analytics cookies, you may also opt out by contacting us at [email protected].

08

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our platform evolves or as regulatory requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, notify you through the platform or by email.
