$MINGO Token

Earn It. Stake It.
Spend It.

MINGO works without $MINGO. You don't need the token to buy a ticket or run an event. But everything around the ticket runs on it. Staking, rewards from purchases, tipping the talent, in-game assets and tournaments, advanced organiser features.

Why a token

The Token Starts
Where The Ticket Stops.

The ticketing platform doesn't depend on $MINGO. The layer around it does. Rewards, priority access, tipping artists, gaming, and advanced features need something programmable, portable, and tied to the platform. That is what $MINGO is for.

01 / Rewards

Rewards have to be portable.

Earning $MINGO for buying tickets or completing actions only matters if the same token can be spent across the platform. Stake it. Tip with it. Pay for game assets. Spend on organiser features. The token's job is to close the loop.

02 / Priority

Priority needs a signal.

Staking $MINGO is how holders signal commitment to the platform. That signal unlocks early access to high-demand event tickets, drops on MINGO Market, and features sitting behind a stake threshold. The stake is the qualifier.

03 / In-app value

In-app value needs a token.

Tipping a musician, buying a kart upgrade, entering a tournament: these are micro-transactions that work better in a platform-native unit than as fiat top-ups. $MINGO gives MINGO an internal economy.

Utility

What $MINGO Does.

These are the actual uses, not promises. Each one is live or in active development. Together they describe what $MINGO is for.

Use 01 / Stake

Stake for priority.

Stake $MINGO for early access to high-demand event tickets, drops on MINGO Market, and features that sit behind a stake threshold. The longer and bigger the stake, the higher the priority tier.

Use 02 / Earn

Earn from purchases.

Certain events and platform actions reward you in $MINGO. The reward is yours: hold it, stake it, spend it back on the platform, or move it out. Activity inside the system builds a balance you can use.

Use 03 / Tip

Tip the talent.

Tip artists, fighters, musicians, and performers directly in the app, in $MINGO. The talent gets paid without the platform clipping the gift. A real way to support the people you came to see.

Use 04 / Play

Play and compete.

In AstroKarts and the rest of MINGO Play, $MINGO buys in-game assets, enters tournaments, and pays out winnings. Real value moves through the games rather than disposable points.

Use 05 / Unlock

Unlock organiser features.

Some advanced organiser tools and capabilities are gated by $MINGO. Use the token to access deeper functionality on the events you run. Holding $MINGO buys you a more powerful seat at the platform.

Tokenomics

Fixed Supply.
Vesting Tied To Platform Growth.

$MINGO has a hard cap of 3.65 billion. Allocations are weighted toward community, ecosystem, and team contribution. Team and ecosystem unlocks are gated on cumulative ticket sales, not just calendar time.

Circulating ~1.13B ~31% of supply in circulation.

Allocation

How the 3.65B supply is structured. Larger allocations are weighted toward community rewards and ecosystem growth, with team unlocks contingent on platform usage milestones.

Team and Ecosystem allocations are subject to multi-year vesting schedules, with unlock tranches gated on cumulative ticket sales and active user thresholds. Full unlock framework is documented in the whitepaper.

Revenue flow

Platform Activity Supports The Token.

MINGO charges below industry rates on the core platform, then routes a defined share of platform revenue into $MINGO buybacks. The tokens bought back are removed from circulation.

Stream 01

Commission 3.5% Industry standard sits up to 12.5%. MINGO undercuts that materially.
Routes to buyback 1% of revenue Buyback flows back to $MINGO and is permanently burned.

Take a 90,000 ticket event at $100 a ticket. That's $9M in ticket sales, of which 1% routes to buyback. $90,000 of $MINGO is bought back and burned.

Infrastructure

Built On Hedera.

$MINGO runs on the Hedera network. The choice came down to four properties we wanted across the rewards and play layer: speed, fairness, low fees, low energy. The same standard we hold the rest of the platform to.

Throughput
Up to 10,000 TPS High enough to handle tournament entries, in-game purchases, and tipping bursts at scale without queue depth.
Settlement
aBFT consensus Asynchronous Byzantine fault tolerance. No single party can re-order or rewrite a transaction once confirmed.
Fee profile
Sub-cent, predictable Cheap enough to make a $1 tip or a small tournament entry feel weightless on the user.
Energy profile
Comparable to cloud Not proof-of-work. The energy cost of running the platform sits in line with conventional infrastructure.

Why Hedera, specifically.

Tipping, in-game asset purchases, tournament entries, and stake-based priority all depend on a settlement layer that handles high-volume micro-transactions without fee spikes or queue depth. Hedera's consensus model delivers that determinism.

Every transaction settles in seconds. Every fee is known in advance. Every order is fair across participants. That is the reliability the rest of the platform expects, applied to the token economy as well.
